Homes with Lots of "Potential"
Many homes for sale in the Boone / Blowing Rock / Beech Mountain area are older homes that have good locations but need some updating and help with style for vacation rentals.
Before & After Example:
Below is a home that began our program in December of 2017. Our team gave advice and the homeowners carried out the plan. We can also assist with bed arrangements, room purpose, etc., even floor plan changes.
Inexpensive wood trim around the windows and doors, new finish on ceiling, leather furniture, new mounted TV.
The floor and ceiling drive rentals and add value to the home. Note the warmth from the new paint color and window trim which complete the transformation.
The kitchen cabinets have not even been painted. The tongue in groove ceiling and the new light fixture are key elements. Also, note the barn wood door in the back ground and the paint in the dining area.

This is the second living area on the lower level. Floor and ceilings are high impact and wood baseboards and crown molding and warmer paint color complete the effect.
Mountain style, with elegant touches, sells in this market. The curtain, the quilt and the white trim are gone.
- Paint color a darker khaki throughout.
- Use of wood trim instead of white painted trim (or even just paint trim brown).
- Tongue in groove ceilings is not an "invasive" remodel and are not a high expense. But it adds a lot of style to the home.
- Bed coverings are a "high leverage" investment; big impact, low cost.
- Elegant, mountain furniture styles are key.
